Accessibility and Special Needs
Krannert Center offers a number of public services to assist patrons. These include assistance for patrons using wheelchairs, interpreters for patrons who are Deaf, and listening devices for patrons who are hard-of-hearing. We are happy to provide these services for Youth Series performances if you let us know of your needs when placing your ticket order. A minimum of three weeks’ notice is needed for us to arrange for American Sign Language interpreters. If we know about your other special needs at least one day before your school attends a performance, we can make arrangements so that your students have the best experience possible. For example, we can have certain seats roped off so that students with disabilities can sit with their classmates or ensure that students with low vision can be seated in the front row or have enough staff on hand to quickly assist numerous students from their wheelchairs to theatre seats.
The elevators in each parking garage are wheelchair accessible and provide easy entrance to the Center. There is also a ramp on the south side of the building (via Oregon Street) that leads to the Lobby entrance.
