Ticket FAQ
How do I pay for tickets?
Youth Series performances occur during the fall and spring seasons; each season has its own ticket purchase contract return and payment date. A contract will be mailed to you following your order submission. Please sign and return our copy to confirm your order. The ticket purchase contracts must be signed and returned with payment by the payment due date. To ensure we honor as many orders as possible, your tickets are guaranteed until the day after the payment due date. If you need a payment extension, please let us know as soon as possible. If your payment is not received by the date indicated, your tickets will be released to persons on the waiting list.
For whom may I order?
To avoid duplicate orders, teachers may order tickets for their own classes or grade levels only. (Teachers ordering for an entire team should include all team member names on the order form.)
How many tickets should I order?
Figure the maximum number of tickets you will need. Remember to include teachers, student teachers, chaperones, and bus drivers. You can reduce the ticket numbers prior to or at the time of payment; if you need additional tickets, please contact our staff so that we can check on ticket availability. Please remember that there are no refunds. The number of tickets must be finalized by the payment due date.
How many complimentary tickets will I receive?
The number of free tickets is based on the number of tickets you agree to purchase. You receive one free ticket for every 20 tickets purchased.
What if a performance is full?
You will be placed on a waiting list if a performance is full. Typically, we are able to accommodate several schools on the waiting list close to the day of the event. If you do not receive an agreement form or a waiting list letter, please call 217/333-9727 or 217/244-3009 or e-mail youthseries@krannertcenter.illinois.edu.
